Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2012
Fashion shows do not only present, what will be IN next season, they always create a certain kind of magic. Louis Vuitton´s Fall/Winter Fashion show 2012 took it a step further and organized a show, which came close to a movie.
Louis Vuitton did not simply let their models walk from one side of the catwalk to the other.
The room was designed like a train station. The gates opened and a big cloud of smoke entered the room, followed by an old steam train. After the Luis Vuitton train stopped in the middle of the room, one model after another stepped out the train. Each one guided by a man, who helped to carry their one to three Louis Vuitton bags.
The collection is very lady like and reminds of a busy and glamorous woman from the 60´s. Unlike the spring/summer collection, which had a lot of short dresses, skirts and shorts, the Louis Vuitton fall/winter 2012 collection is bottomed up. Marc Jacobs designed dresses, coats and pants in different textures like shiny, matte, leather and graphic. The models wear long and wide dresses, coats and pants. Besides dominated colors for the fall/winter season like browns, grays, camels, orange, blacks, and dark blues, Marc Jacobs grasped in the color pallet and used reds, bright rose and purple. The girls wear hats, that remind me of the hat from the “cat in the hat” and I am wondering, who should wear this, since it does not look very glamorous at all.
Overall, I really like how Jacobs took us to a trip through time with the collection. The sophisticated look shows that women can be very glamorous and sexy without showing much skin.
The collection works perfectly with the show and I am still amazed about this event. Fashion is so much more than just clothes. I wish I could behind the scenes right now and be part of such an awesome show that enchants the audience.
Jewelry From a Different World: L’Odyssée de Cartier
I just surfed through the web and found this great video from Cartier.
Odyssey is the right word to describe it. Cartier invites us to follow a leopard´s adventurous journey through a magical world.
I really like the different images and atmospheres Cartier creates with this video. This is a proof that fashion is arts. After all, the elephants in the video reminded me right away of Dali´s “The Elephants”.
I hope the Leopard stops by my apartment and brings me this beautiful bracelet the woman at the end wears. Please?
Free your Style like Charlotte Free
Just one look and you are enchanted. Next to the mass production of plain looking models, there are models with an individual style. One of them is Charlotte Free. She attracts attention with her rock style and her pink hair. I love to see how girls with personality become big in the fashion business and I am not the only one: Vivienne Westwood hired her already and now Charlotte works for the label Wildfox. This combination works perfectly because Charlotte Free embodies the vintage style the best and gives the collection a special and interesting personality. It is time for more authentic women to make it into the fashion paradise.

Marni for H&M
On march 8, 2012 the label Marni will sell their collection in H&M stores all over the world and it will probably be as hard as usually to get a piece: High Fashion for little budgets. This collection will include elegant flowing shapes, colorful and sparkly accents next to natural tones and patterns, patterns, patterns. The clothes themselves make me excited for spring but I am not too excited about the pattern- combinations, though. Thanks to model Imogen Poots, I will definitely check out the collection at the H&M online shop.
Wearapist Jeannie Mai
“You know that voice that keeps saying ‘can’t, won’t, shouldn’t,’ and ‘too late?’ Tell it to shut up.” – Jeannie Mai
One of the most fascinating things here in the United States is probably the variety of TV channels. I decided to buy the smallest and cheapest TV Package and guess what? It still has 900 TV channels. Don´t ask me who needs that but it also brought something good with it; One of my new favorite show: “How do I look” and the main reason I like it so much is the host Jeannie Mai.
In her fashion- intervention show “How do I look” she does not only help fashion disoriented women to a new style, she also encourages women to follow their career dreams and to find their inner beauty. Because of her knowledge about style and trends she also co- hosts the “Today Show” and “E! News – “The Daily 10” from time to time. Her energetic and fun character makes a simple makeover to a true exciting event and brings some color into the sometimes a little stiff fashion world.

Primark Denim Co. Jeans Collection 2o11

Even though it is unfortunate that America does not have Primark, I am still in love with that store. I have never had negative experiences with clothes from Primark and I already plan a shopping-trip with my friends when I am coming back to visit Germany in December. Now, there are some interesting information released, which I do not want to hide from you guys.
Primark presented in August the new Denim Co. Jeans Collection called “The Pursuit of Happiness”. Already little things can bring us happiness so Primark tried to design jeans, which just fit perfectly. Every girl knows that Jeans are like men: It is very hard to find one that just fits great. No worries, Primark helps us. Denim Co. created a brought collection for Women, Men and Kids with a great variety of designs: Skinny, Flare, Shorts and Baggy Pants. Primark wants to serve everyone with the perfect jeans with the perfect price between 5euro- 21euro- Unbeatable. I could never complain about the quality of Primark´s clothes so I definitely would try the jeans.
Sweet, Sweet Things

Okay, I know I should not eat candies, chocolate and cakes all the time. But sometimes I cannot resist. Probably I am not alone with my addiction. I simply love these sweet things. Here are my favorites. Something to dream about.
Coldstone Birthdaycake Remix, Little Cupcakes, Milka black and white chocolate and frozen yoghurt with almost everything.
Bronx Schuhe
